Cathy was instrumental in starting BusinessKind Myanmar with Dr. Helen Gunthorpe in August 2008. She helped BusinessKind capture and complete its first granted programs and established BusinessKind’s home office in Yangon. In November 2013 Cathy moved to Hong Kong to start her married life and new career. Cathy’s hard work and creative talents were the keystones of BusinessKind’s foundation.

Ingrid brings BusinessKind policy expertise in workforce issues, labor policy and community organizing. She currently resides in Yangon and consults with NGOs. Previously, she worked for the Services Employees International Union and the Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute. She recently moved to Yangon from Seattle where she was the Advocacy Director of the Washington State office of AARP for the past seven years. Ingrid has a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology.
